I don't have a particular memory obvisously. The red card of Dirk Marcellis at his debut at Anfield was a bad descision of the ref.

How has the season been shaping up so far?
-We're second in the league with 9 points out of 4 games, but we haven't been playing well at all, so I'm not too happy so far and I'm afraid we will lose matches against better opponents if we keep playing like this.
What are your expectations for this season?
-I always expect PSV to win the league. We probably don't have a good chance to advance to the next stage of the Champions League though. I Hope we can finish 3rd in our group and play UEFA Cup.
And your new signings? Are you pleased? How are they settling in?
-Isaksson (goalkeeper) is okay, Brechet (central defender) played a few good matches but was terrible against Atlético Madrid and Amrabat (winger/striker) has already proven to be a good signing.
Who are your most important player(s)?
-Afellay is our creative midfielder. He has the ability to score or create chances when you least expect it. Simons is an experienced defensive midfielder and our captain.
Your worst player(s)?
-Our backs (Kromkamp (rb), Pieters/Zonneveld (lb)) and strikers (Lazovic and Koevermans) are terrible. Pieters is still young and could become a decent back in the future but he isn't quite there yet.
Do you have a particular memory of any previous meeting between our clubs? And was there a decision you disagreed with?
-No positive memories here.. We can't seem to beat you and the decision to send off Dirk Marcellis on Anfield Road was terrible of course. 
Any young up and coming players in the squad that we might not know about?
-Again: Afellay. He's an unbelievably good player who's definately going to leave us at the end of the season for the likes of Milan, Barcelona, Real Madrid, etc. And someone else I've mentioned before is Dirk Marcellis. He's a talented defender.
What sort of line-up will be put out against us?
-Probably a very defensive 4-2-3-1 formation. 4 defenders with 2 defensive midfielders in front of them and another defensive midfielder (mendez or culina) in front of them.
Do you have any favourite/best chant(s)songs and perhaps any that require an explanation?
-We have a song in which remember great players who played and staff members who had a contract here in the past. Examples of these persons are Romario, Ronaldo, Van Nistelrooy, Cocu and Guus Hiddink. I personally like that song, makes me proud of PSV.
Where do you expect yourselves to finish in the Ere Divisie, and Liverpool to finish in the Premier League?
-As mentioned above I expect us to win the league. I expect Liverpool to either win the league or be the runner-up.
Which Liverpool player will you fear the most?
-Steve Gerrard and Fernando Torres

-You'll beat us 3 to 0 I'm afraid.

How has the season been shaping up so far?
-The season started late in Holland because of the Olympics so we have played only 4 matches. We won 3 but not convinsingly.
What are your expectations for this season?
-We should play for the title every season, a 5th title in a row would be very nice.
And your new signings? Are you pleased? How are they settling in?
-Isaksson, Brechet and Amrabat are all decent players althougn Brechet has had a bit of a melt down lately. We have yet to see Maza and Manco in action

-Afellay is our Gerrard. We loose a lot of creativity when he doesnt play. Our central deffender Marcelis is developing into a top player and our wingers can potentially become top players.
Your worst player(s)?
-I would say Edison Mendez qualifies right now.

-No, Liverpool is a club that have not impressed us but will win most games in the end. Not exciting football, but a few players that are a class act. (Gerrard, Torres)

How has the season been shaping up so far?
As said before, we started with a fantastic 5-1 away win at FC Utrecht, but as it seems now that result had more to do with the weakness of the opponent. Right now PSV isn't in good shape.
What are your expectations for this season?
Together with Ajax we'll probably fight over the 1st position. AZ Alkmaar currently seems to be having a comeback but to regard them a potential league winner is a little premature. Personally I think we'll beat Ajax in the end.
And your new signings? Are you pleased? How are they settling in?
Amrabat is a versatile attacker that combines speed and strength, but he's rather inexperienced. Manco is a supertalent from Peru but as of yet hasn't played a lot (but we expect a lot from this forward). Nijland is yet another young talented forward. Brechet is an experienced French defender but he seems more like a midfielder to me. Haven't made up my mind about him yet. Maza is Mexican-capped central defender who seems quite solid to me but needs time to adapt to European football I guess. That's about it.
Who are your most important player(s)?
Afellay - enormous talent but still very injury-prone. He probably won't play tomorrow. I can't think of any other player that's important at the moment.
Your worst player(s)?
Of those who regularly play: Culina (no good), Mendez (better but no good either), Koevermans (disappointing at the time)
Do you have a particular memory of any previous meeting between our clubs? And was there a decision you disagreed with?
I remember attending PSV-Liverpool like 2 years ago which ended in 0-0 with Arouna Koné (wish he hadn't left us) hitting the bar in 1st half and Gerrard hitting the post in the dying seconds.
Any young up and coming players in the squad that we might not know about?
Marcellis is on his way to the Dutch national team (i.e. that's what everybody says). He seems like a very bright and even-tempered kid with just the right mentality to succeed as a central defender. Personally I'm a fan of Otman Bakkal, but due to our new coach and Bakkal's participation at the Olympics he isn't a starter anymore (a shame if you ask me). Both are important players for the Dutch youth team.
What sort of line-up will be put out against us?
Don't know, Huub Stevens is still messing around with it.
Do you have any favourite/best chant(s)songs and perhaps any that require an explanation?
Dunno.
Where do you expect yourselves to finish in the Ere Divisie, and Liverpool to finish in the Premier League?
1st, I guess Liverpool will do better than last year but probably won't win the league.

Torres, he's a bit like Aguero of Atletico who made our defense look like total shit 2 weeks ago.

The best possible result for PSV would be 0-0, but I guess it'll be something like 3-0.

Ibrahim Afellay is the best player in the Dutch league, but he's injured and won't play tomorrow. Simons is very experienced (Club Brugge/PSV/Belgian National Team) and is our captain. Dirk Marcellis is an amazing defender. Almost everyone is wondering why he isn't player for the Dutch National Team.
Your worst player(s)?
Koevermans and Zonneveld. You are lucky. Most people don't know why, but Koevermans is our first striker. So most of the time we are playing with 10 players instead of 11.
Do you have a particular memory of any previous meeting between our clubs? And was there a decision you disagreed with?
I went to the groupmatch in Liverpool two years ago. However both teams were already qualified for the next round, it was an amazing happening. The stadium is great, the supporters are great. Too bad I've got money problems, so I can't go to the match tomorrow.
The decision I disagree with is the red card of Dirk Marcellis in the quarterfinals two years ago.
Any young up and coming players in the squad that we might not know about?
I don't know how much you can see of our league in England, but players that are coming are Dirk Marcellis, Nordin Amrabat, Balasz Dzsudzsak and Reimond Manco.
What sort of line-up will be put out against us?
I guess it will be a kind of 433-system. Maybe Culina will play instead of Dzsudzsak. Then it will be more a 442-tactic

Yes the team you had in 2005 where brilliant I dont think anyone wanted to play them, you where very unlucky against Milan in the semi final, very unlucky.
Whats happened to Gomez :huh he was one of the best keepers around, he has been awful at Tottenham.
So has the rest of their team though.

It started well with the 1-5 against FC Utrecht, but after that it was awful. 1-0 win against Sparta.. 1-0 lose against AZ, and 1-0 win at FC Volendam.
I mean come on, PSV can do better, much better!

Nordin Amrabat is a good player. Isaksson also, but i like Gomes more..

We started good but things started going downhill from there. Resulting in a loss at AZ and a small victory at home to the leagues worst side.
What are your expectations for this season?
I dont think we are going to be champions for a 5th in a row. There just not enough quality around...
And your new signings? Are you pleased? How are they settling in?
Isakssons (keeper) is doing alright.. allthough he aint Gomes...
Brechet (defense) hasn't convinced me.
Amrabat (Forward) still needs to grow but thats allright he has got time, he's one of the youngster for the futre
Pieters (defense) same as Amrabat allthough I have my doubts if he can become topclass!
Manco (Forward) another youngster.. hasnt had much playing time yet
Mazza (defense) seems destined to warm uo the bench...
All in all.. not pleased at all at the moment...

Afellay without a doubt.. he aint world class yet.. but he is getting there! and Dirk Marcellis "the next Jaap Stam"

Champions, when you have 9 out of 4 with rubbisch football you'll be the champion.

Not world class. Good enough for Dutch League, but that's it.

Afellay (injured at home); so we don't have an important player anymore.

No. You play not that spectacular, and in the end you've won.

Liverpool: 4th. In a way you don't like the Premier league. The PL is for ManU, Chelsea and Arsenal. But in Europe...

I just read the topic on your forum. Good work to do this for each opponent. My comment on Liverpool not impressing but mostly winning their games in the end got one guy riled up...... Truth hurts a bit sometimes. Anyway bad luck tonight and good luck with the rest of your games.

How has the season been shaping up so far?
The saeson starts good, concerning the results. The football which was displayed was very bad. Two matches ago we found the consequences, we lost against az alkmaar. Last match we won 1-0 against Volendam, the team which is probably the worst team of the league.
What are your expectations for this season?
About the leaugue, we are the current champions so the objective for this should be the same.
In the champions league we are far worse then the team in the last four years. A thirth please in the poules would be great.
And your new signings? Are you pleased? How are they settling in?
You better ask about the players who didn't came. Most supportes hoped a striker was signed last summer transfer window, but they didn't. About the other signs; Amrabat and Manco are gives us more creativity, but both had some room to improve. About the others; their first impression is not well. But they deserve a chance.
Who are your most important player(s)?
Defenitely Ibrahim Afellay. He came from the PSV youth academy. He plays as an attacking midfielder, and he is probably one of europes biggest talented players of his position.
Other important players are Simons and Salcido but they are not excepcional talented like we had the previous years with platyers like Gomes, Farfan, Kone, Alex and Cocu.
Your worst player(s)?
Players like Zonneveld, Culina and Addo are simply not good enough in the CL. In the eredivisie against average clubs they are usefull.
We also have a problem for the striker position. Both Koevermans and Lazovic are not good enough. Problem is we invest 14 million for those players (which is a huge amount of money for PSV) and if we sell them, we are lucky we get 8 million back. And PSV don't have a rich owner, who is prepared to give extra money.

The first memory a have of a match between our teams, was the red card of Marcellis at Anfield Road in 11-4-2008. We lost the first match with 3-0 and we played with a lot of youth players. Any young up and coming players in the squad that we might not know about?
We have a lot of young players, only Afellay is close to making the step to a club abroad. Other talented players like Marcellis (central defener) and Amrabat (winger) still had to learn alot. The other young players are not even good enough for the PSV squad.

That is difficult to say, because in europe we most adjust to the opponent. But I can give it a try:

Our heroes song is the most unique and famous. In this song we honour the most important people of the history of our club. Like Romario, Nillis.
Where do you expect yourselves to finish in the Ere Divisie, and Liverpool to finish in the Premier League?
We should win the championship, but every year we play worse and worse. We are lucky, the other teams also sucks.
I do not follow the english competition very well. Probably Manchester United or Chelsea become champions and Arsenal and Liverpool are playing for the 3th place.
Which Liverpool player will you fear the most?
The two best players of Liverpool are Steven Gerrard and Fenando Torres. But all of your players on the pitch and at the bench are very good and would be an addition of our squad.
Care to predict the score?
If i am realistic; 4-1 for Liverpool. Although I hope we will win, but that is obvious. So I hope 0-1.
